Established in 2020, Lion and Lilac is a privately funded Arts Organisation that seek to promote and publish art in all forms.
Why Lion & Lilac?
Every creative deserves a space to hang their work and Lion and Lilac seeks to do that. To ‘be home’. As an Arts Organisation, our aim is to wrap our literary arms around everyone, the under-represented in our society especially without slackening the noose on quality.
I have always had the desire to contribute my quota, however minute, to the development of the Artistic space and provide an avenue for other writers to showcase their literary works. That desire has finally manifested in the form of a collaborative effort with a fellow creative and Author, Omotayo Sangofadeji. Lion and Lilac was born out of the need to affect the literary community positively. It is a dream I am undoubtedly excited to see unfold. From today, we have a chance to play an even greater role in the development of the literary space.
